Waukesha Bearings celebrates plant’s 50th anniversary

Waukesha Bearings is marking 50 years of manufacturing in Antigo, Wisconsin, USA.

Founded in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1946, Waukesha Bearings opened its Antigo manufacturing facility in May 1972, with a workers of three full-time employees. In 2019, the plant expanded to one hundred,000 sq ft of producing space and now employs a hundred and twenty people. The manufacturing house was added to accommodate production for marine bearing techniques and different new projects awarded to the corporate.
“We are pleased with our success and growth to become a supplier of precision bearings to some of the largest multi-national firms from our small-town, Northern Wisconsin location,” stated Mark Greenlund, plant manager.
