AxFlow makes Danish acquisition

AxFlow has acquired Pumpegruppen A/S, a Danish pump supplier to the chemical, food and pharmaceutical industries and for water therapy and general industrial purposes.

Pumpegruppen is a full-service pump specialist representing manufacturers including Grundfos, Wilden, FTI and Speck. The firm is headquartered in Lyngby, 10 km north of Copenhagen, and has another base in Rønde in Jutland.
“The acquisition of Pumpegruppen is well-aligned with our group technique to expand the product and repair providing in Denmark. Pumpegruppen has a robust customer base and a sound growth potential,” stated Søren Weihrauch, CEO of AxFlow A/S.
Under the leadership of CEO and former owner Erling Olsen, Pumpegruppen will continue to function underneath its current identify whereas being a part of the AxFlow Group.
