Atlas Copco has agreed to amass the German industrial pump manufacturer Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH from personal fairness firm Silverfleet Capital.

Headquartered in Wangen in the Allgäu area of Germany, Pumpenfabrik Wangen specialises in progressive cavity pumps used primarily within the biogas and wastewater sectors, and twin-screw pumps for food and beverage and cosmetics applications.
Pumpenfabrik Wangen has manufacturing amenities in Germany, a US subsidiary and a world sales and repair footprint. The company employs 265 individuals and had 2020 revenues of approximately €46.four million.
“Industrial pumps is a phase that we have recognized as a strategic fit for Atlas Copco and Wangen Pumpen has main differentiated expertise with a robust aftermarket business,” stated Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique business space. “ เกจวัดแรงดันน้ำ10บาร์ is a strong model and is understood for high quality in demanding industrial applications. This acquisition will create a strong foundation for additional progress in new industrial pump segments.”
The acquired business will become part of the Power and Flow division within Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area.
The deal is expected to be completed through the second quarter of 2022 and is subject to regulatory approvals.
