Waukesha Bearings celebrates plant’s 50th anniversary

Waukesha Bearings is marking 50 years of manufacturing in Antigo, Wisconsin, USA.

Founded in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1946, Waukesha Bearings opened its Antigo manufacturing facility in May 1972, with a workers of three full-time staff. In 2019, the plant expanded to 100,000 sq ft of manufacturing house and now employs a hundred and twenty folks. The manufacturing house was added to accommodate production for marine bearing methods and different new tasks awarded to the company.
“We are happy with our success and progress to become a supplier of precision bearings to a few of the largest multi-national firms from our small-town, Northern Wisconsin location,” said Mark Greenlund, plant manager.
To rejoice the 50-year milestone, the corporate is planning an event at the facility for employees and lengthening its outreach to the community to coach them on the career opportunities obtainable at the site. “We are on the lookout for people throughout the Antigo group who wish to be a part of the next 50 years of success at Waukesha Bearings,” stated Greenlund.
