Valmet is including a brand new circulate control options service centre in Antofagasta, Chile, expanding its providing to the mining and metals business.
The Antofagasta service centre begins working this month.

Valmet entered into the move control business in April 2022 when the economic move control company Neles was merged into Valmet.
“Over the years, we’ve systematically expanded our flow control installed base and answer offering for the mining and metals business in the area,” says Fabio Maia, head of the South & Central America Area at Valmet’s Flow Control business line. “The new facility permits us to better reply to the rising demand for customer help in addition to drive our expansion in minerals processing. From Antofagasta, our service teams will be close to customer operations in Chile and in Peru.”
Valmet has 40 circulate control service centres worldwide.
