Hayward Tyler Inc and its sister company Energy Steel have been awarded multi-million dollar contracts to help the ITER challenge in France.

Hayward Tyler’s contract covers variable drive booster pumps while Energy Steel will provide sixty two solenoid valve and cubicle packages.
The ITER challenge is a joint international research and development project to demonstrate the scientific and technical feasibility of fusion power. The demonstration facility is underneath building in St-Paul-lez-Durance in France, and will be the largest fusion experimental reactor on the planet.
Hayward Tyler’s booster pumps shall be an integral part of the drying system for the Tokamak Cooling Water System (TCWS). The pumps shall be designed, constructed and examined at Hayward Tyler Inc in Colchester, Vermont, USA.
