To achieve this, the complete production cycle, housed in a new manufacturing plant, was automated. Festo provided an entire resolution for more than 200 process valves – together with challenge administration.
A number of totally different products including water, alcohol, glycerine, surfactants, oleic and acetic acids, sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide are saved, transported, blended and bottled for the production of automotive beauty products. This requires advanced process automation options. The Croatian automobile cosmetics company Alfa Car has taken a big step into the long run: while constructing a model new manufacturing plant, the complete production cycle was absolutely automated, from the raw supplies to the bottling line for the finished merchandise. One level of focus was the seamless automation of the method valves.

To tackle the challenge, the company labored along with the system integrator Arp Lučko and Festo. It could be Festo’s position to venture manage the automation of the process valves. To guarantee quick integration into the new system and most reliability in the future manufacturing process, customised complete options were provided that cover the complete range, from the process valve items to the valve terminals.
