Atlas Copco to acquire Wangen Pumpen

Atlas Copco has agreed to acquire the German industrial pump manufacturer Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH from private equity firm Silverfleet Capital.

Headquartered in Wangen within the Allgäu area of Germany, Pumpenfabrik Wangen specialises in progressive cavity pumps used mainly within the biogas and wastewater sectors, and twin-screw pumps for food and beverage and cosmetics purposes.
Pumpenfabrik Wangen has manufacturing amenities in Germany, a US subsidiary and a global gross sales and service footprint. The firm employs 265 folks and had 2020 revenues of approximately €46.four million.
“Industrial pumps is a segment that we now have recognized as a strategic match for Atlas Copco and Wangen Pumpen has main differentiated know-how with a robust aftermarket business,” stated Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique business space. “ เกจวัดแรงดันน้ําไทวัสดุ is a powerful model and is understood for quality in demanding industrial functions. This acquisition will create a strong basis for additional development in new industrial pump segments.”
The acquired enterprise will turn out to be part of the Power and Flow division inside Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area.
The deal is expected to be accomplished during the second quarter of 2022 and is topic to regulatory approvals.
