Unlike diaphragm, rotary lobe, and PC pumps, the peristaltic design of the Watson Marlow Bredel hose pumps accommodates no moving elements that come into contact with the product. It has no seals, ball-checks, diaphragms, glands, immersed rotors, stators or pistons to leak, clog, corrode or replace.
Bredel hose pumps also remove the need for ancillary tools similar to dry run protection, seal water flush techniques and in-line verify valves. A hose change takes solely minutes and may be carried out in-situ with out particular tools or skilled personnel.
